What bench equipment do you use to measure the current used by a a project?
I am often working with projects powered from coin cell batteries. I want to measure the general current load as well as see fluctuations.
Adafruit recently announced the CP2105 USB to Dual UART Serial https://www.adafruit.com/product/6065. I see that there is a CP2108 Quad chip. Any chance there's enough demand for a quad breakout?
are these what are being sold currently or has this not happened yet?

the way it was worded made it sound like the plan was to just start selling the square pin versions in place of the thin pin ones rather than list them as their own separate product
also are there/will there be full 2x20 pi headers with the tall square pins or just that specific kit shown in the video?
We've sold stacking headers (https://www.adafruit.com/search?q=stacking) for a looooong time - longer than the pins' tails, which allow them to stack shields or daughterboards of various kinds. The kind we have are about 0.4mm by 0.6mm, but we got a request to carry 'square' pin versions that will seat better in solderless breadboards and loose ...
What hot air rework station would you recommend to a hobbyist that would mainly use it for small electronics repair? The Quick 957DW seemed reasonable, but wanted other opinions.
Is there any chance that, when the Metro RP2350 comes out hat there will be an option for preinstalled PSRAM?
...ditto for RM2 wifi?
I want to build a programable foot pedal (two momentary switches) for MIDI or anything else. I'd like the interface to be old school USB B for robustness. I've found USB-B to A panel mount connectors on Amazon but they barely fit (maybe?) the pedal enclosure I'd like to use. Do you know of a better connector or a better way to build a robust USB foot pedal box? I don't want to run a wire directly to the microcontroller inside.
Any progress on the alternative PCB you were working on:
- The IKEA air sensor with Liz
- The baby song player
PS: I have the hardware waiting. 😉
I have this. It does all it says to do. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BK3M6YW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
What you're getting from using the YIHUA 959D: A hot air station packed full of professional-grade performance, innovations, safety measures, and functions. The station comes with 3 available memory channels to store your preset settings, and you can switch between channels with ease. On top of t...
