Hey, I wanted to change to a single charger config but I’ve hit a problem.
I have an asus Vivobook with a 4.5x3.0mm barrel and want to go USBC. My laptop peaks at 120W which is supported with the included psu.
For something like this https://www.amazon.com/Cablecc-Female-4-53-0mm-Charge-Laptop/dp/B0832LT6GM/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?crid=EIREUZBUEUC5&keywords=usb+c+to+4.5mm+3.0+barrel&qid=1669559259&sprefix=usb+c+to+4.5mm+3.0+barrel%2Caps%2C144&sr=8-13
Where the tested limit is 100W, would it cause problems when the laptop asks for more power ? I’m not sure if I should buy this adapter, a PD adapter, or use a 100W usbc cable with an e-mark chip to make sure I don’t go over the limit.
