oh right, sorry! I just started using MakeCode ๐Ÿ™‚

inner spade

Excellent. The giant 7-seg project was one of my favs. Nice to see it adapted to MakeCode!

gusty wedge
#

As a sidenote, I created an issue on github, to ask if it is possible to add translations to the Adafruit's makecode. (Other such as the BBC have it applied and look nice in spanish)

haughty quiver
#

Thanks @gusty wedge !

cinder wind
#

oh yeah what's the preferred mechanism to ask for feature requests to MakeCode? I would love to see it have dictionaries in addition to normal arrays

sage aspen
#

@haughty quiver Can you make it so it color cycles on the lit segments?

gusty wedge
cinder wind
#

Thanks @gusty wedge I was wondering if that was the appropriate place. It seems to be

haughty quiver
#

@sage aspen as in animated color cycles on them? That's cool, I'll try it out.

The iGEM community, which is huge will probably love this sensor. It seems to be good enough for detecting color changes in bio-hacking applications.

waxen thistle
#

Woah. For someone who enjoys a nice flashlight, CRI info is so hard to dig up.

#

For some LED emitters, you're lucky if you get broad descriptors like "cool" or "warm". It's nice that digikey went though the effort

Would those large pads on the LEDs are for heatsink/ as well?

(2nd is my model in progress, showing just the shape to be subtracted, for a M3 nut to floating hole)

#

however, M3 is small enough that it's hard to see up in there ๐Ÿ˜›

light stump
#

This technique definitely worked for me. Saves a lot of blobs inside of nut holders. However I found it to be a pain to do the design on a lot of holes. Does anybody have tips on how best to automate it or make a pattern to replicate this in Fusion360?

prime sentinel
#

I'm guessing that the same technique of making a stepped bolt model and subtracting it would work in Fusion360 too.

light stump
#

Makes sense. Usually I think in terms of sketches and extrusions. Youโ€™re right that making and repeating the stepped bolt model to subtract will save a lot of sketching. Makes perfect sense once you said it.

I have the 2.4" Featherwing TFT, and I want to code a UI (including a graph, and buttons) in CircuitPython. I have problems finding any documentation on what library I should be looking at. I will be using either a FeatherWing Huzzah ESP32 or a Feather M4 Express, depending on my desire for WiFi connectivity, which is still an open question on this project. Where do I go to find such a library and its documentation?
