try to control the weight a little better and make your form more consistent
thats the biggest thing
also make sure you keep your shoulderblades flexed back

Why do you say that? I did 3 sets of 18 at that weight and I was nowhere near failure
probably bc your control was bad. If you did that many its a skill issue and not a strength issue
As in, it wasn't a smooth movement, right? Gotcha
i think you were swinging the weight around so your form was pretty inconsistent
not that its not smooth
