Sorry if music is loud lol
Should i be doing a harder or easier progression with the band?
Form looks good! hands are locked out straight, you're leaning into the FL and hips are not dropping down.
Personally i try to lighter bands to gauge where my level is on that particualr day. I'd probably start with yellow band first, very likely you won't be able to hold longer than 3 secs, in that case regress back to red. Ideally each set should be minimum 6 secs hold with good form (like in your vid)
Depending on your training style, some swear by purely static holds, but others suggest doing a front lever pull into inverted and really control the negative. I think instead of arguing which is better, why not do both haha. I'd probably start with static then dynamic after, really depends on your preference.
Cheers!
Thank you for the reply. I am doing static holds and dynamic pulls in the same session actually and I think it's been going well so far. I will try to be mindful of my hips in the future too :)
My pull day is like this:
Advanced tuck fl hold
supported frog fl hold
advanced tuck fl pulls + slow negative
