I can normally do sets of 20 reps pretty comfortably

#

Just recently

#

It hurts a lot more

warm thunder
#

Looks pretty good. You seem to maintain scapular depression

pure sparrow
#

dont look down it puts extra stress on ur sternum

#

i think that was one of my mistakes

warm thunder
#

Maybe less protraction at lockout

theres a stretch I found where u put ur elbows on the wall above ur head and lean into it

tired zodiac

You mean arm at a 90 degree bend elbow resting on wall and lean into it?

pure sparrow
#

i look goofy so i cropped it

#

but this

that makes me feel good during pain flare ups usually

tired zodiac
#

Wait so do you have costocondritis?

#

Or just dip pain?

pure sparrow
#

tired zodiac

# tired zodiac So is it permanent?

If it helps at all, mine eventually went away, but it felt like a long time. A long time first of just doing static holds.

Then I had to use lots of warm up sets when I started dipping again, to avoid pain when adding weight.

I'm pretty sure I'm all good now, but I haven't trained dips much in quite some months.
