First of all the head or nose should touch the floor. Secondly I believe you're sort of pushing yourself from vertical to horizontal to compensate. You need to push from your shoulders more
Was trying to get as close as possible with the nose but I'm always nervous doing touches cuz I know I'll probably fall out of it at some point on my face.
Also I'll try and watch for that. I don't feel like Im pushing horizontal at least, so annoying I can't tell
@hoary wyvern might be because you're not touching the floor with your nose or head it looks off. When you touch with your head focus on pushing as much from your shoulders as possible

If it's too hard try bridging the gap by doing pike on an incline. Unfortunately cannot help beyond that because I never did pikes from the floor only elevated

Tried focusing on touching nose and overhead push today. My God I only did sets of 5, 3, then went back to pre Pikes for another set of 3. Oy
Final set today. Did 7,5, 3 so I'm still burning out fast. Trying hard to get that overhead press feel but still feels like I'm missing something. Any thoughts?
Second set after being back from sick. Only got to 4 reps each time.
Seems pretty good to me, I can't give mini details about how you can improve it but it seems decent.
Once it gets easy, just elevate your legs to go to the next step ๐
I'm just failing really fast. I thought I was gettin comfortable with them but after this cold they feel bad again. May just have to go back to pre Pikes again. Thanks yamen!
