#DB bench v(?)

setup looked very awkward but the movement overall was fine; i'd bring the angle a bit closer to your body to avoid shoulder discomfort when it gets heavier
Yeah these benches are scary to set up on bc they feel so narrow
most benches are
Every time I lean back I feel like I'm gonna fall right off
Working sets coming up
Set up was a bit cleaner, used the little bars at the end to lean me down gradually
same comment
the wide flare just puts your shoulder at a weak angle for both force output and potential injury
it's fine so long as you don't overstress it, but for a general "optimal" db bench your arms should look similar to a pushup, like we mentioned last form check
Yeahhhh I don't want to irritate my shoulder any more than it already has been so I'm gonna try my best to focus on that
I do recall that cue I'll try to keep that in mind
my body is actually tight on the way down and stable
weight is close in, anchored to my body
Oh yeah I can kinda see you brace actually
My biggest worry is the legs leaving the ground
I just do that to kick the dbs up
lower weight it isn't necessary
when you need it, you'll be used to it lol
can also see how thin my bench is and how wide I am lol
Okay I think I adjusted that angle a bit more tucked in
I think my wrists were a little awkward after looking at that
These DBs are feeling light tbh, interested to see my AMRAP at the end
Gotta lock down that angle
.gif you get used to it
Gonna try to focus on keeping that in mind
Lmao
I'm gonna need to delete all these mf form videos after bc my phone is losing storage lmao
The one that usually feels wonky has a slight pain but not like it used to feel, guessing that's just from it being a bit off in earlier sets
It feels more like delt soreness rather than the shoulder pain tho oddly enough
that's good
looking good dude
Danke
First set posted was a warm up, my working sets were 45's
oh
so u warmed up with 35's
right?
i think im blind lmao
I thought I grabbed 25s
So wild, you arch your back every other lift but you need to arch more on this one
