Looks fine for the most part
Maybe slow down. Looks kinda like you’re just falling into the bottom of the dip
Sounds good I'll do it slower
I'll post a new set
@modest tree tried a bit more controlled descent
👍
They look good
Nice ROM. So long as it doesn’t hurt, it’s ok to go as deep as you are
Thanks, I was going a bit too deep the past time I showed Kai the form so I went to 90 degrees
You still go past 90 lol
Pffff
Ok
But yeah it felt more comfortable than the previous time
So maybe I'll try to work on getting it to a consistent 90°
If there’s no pain then it doesnt matter
Gotcha
I guess I have a question while I have ya here
Is it cool to go to a different compound say dips -> shoulder press/OHP -> Bench? My gym is hella busy rn and limited free spots
Or is there an efficient way to rotate
I usually try to do Bench > dips > shoulder
That’s fine. Just place the lifts you care more about first
Some days prioritize one lift over another if you want
When i was training ohp for example, i always did dips as secondary work for ohp
If i was looking to pr on both ohp and dips, i woulda alternated which exercise i did first each day
I seeee
Thanks for the tips
Yeah my prio is bench and dips, but I neglected shoulders for a while, so I may need to prio shoulders and maybe dips? A big goal is to get to do muscle ups
Muscle ups are more of a technique thing
It’s literally just a pullup and a dip. If you can bang out sets of 8-10 of those movements p easily, you likely just need to work on the technique
If you don't mind, i don't know if this will help you but i notice that you look forward, i like to keep my head down during the set and kinda round my upper back. If you understand what i want to say, not sure if it shifts the stress on different muscles tho
Yeah I get you I do the same instinctively
I didn't do it from the start but i met a guy that told me that it will make it a bit easier for me
And it mostly helps with "force production"
And concentration
If my head is up and i'm looking forward i feel a lot of pressure on my neck an traps and my form breaks
