I tried running Tedit (download from the link In "releases" from this server) and it says that windows protected my pc. Do I run anyway?

This is because TEdit is not signed by a trusted publisher. Which is fine, realistically its one people working on this.

This is the "Windows smartscreen" which is supposed to be some kind of tool to protect you. Realistically you are better off just scanning anything with Microsoft Security
