parkour wouldn't be cut out in the design
we'd just design around it, with it in mind
so the map would probably go a bit bigger than Tribute so you actually have more space to choose a site and plant, without meeting a player in 3 seconds

cause at the end of the day, 4v4 is still "classic" style
classic is really just 4v4 or 8v8 depending on map size
really, maps like Zen Garden could be 4v4
pretty much every surface has invisible walls

I think the 4v4, if it was treated more like it's just classic but we're playing smaller maps with smaller teams, could be heaps more fun

I got a question, is making maps any harder than just using assets and placing them down?
cuz it seems easy and not a big exhausting thing to do
and ofc make it glitch proof
it's pretty much as easy as that... but you gotta make sure they are sized right, you don't have z-fighting (two surfaces overlapping to make a glitchy texture that spasms between which surface to show), and make the layout feel balanced
anyone can chuck stuff onto a project
but it takes some level of design to make it feel like a map that balances out
hardest part is probably getting the assets, cause they're paid assets

So just make a good layout and it will be pretty solid
either joja or myself would likely be able to just go make the map off of the design, if it was at the right standard
and nobody would need to worry about assets, they'd still be basically doing all the contribution to make it an easy process to add

I don't have many 4v4 ideas, but I considered Dwarf Mine (which would be cave-like, and possibly like the tunnels in Frontier, just not the red stone)

the more "open" it is, the harder it may be to do if I'm trying to figure out what works for cover

but from what I know, it would be verry different to setup than the actual mode
it would need consistent 4v4 ppls, and for way more longer (depending on how you do)
maps are actually not good for this mode. it needs bigger maps like Tribute, and balanced like tribute
also ppls get banned of valo for leaving a game, so idk how you would do about that
and how would you do about who plays, it would be only restricted to players, right ?
otherwise ppls plays as guest and don't get banned if they left
it feels way too complicated to add (as in complicated to explain to devs), but also it feels that it is just being a copy
I like WB as how it is, with special 4v4 and 8v8 mods we don't really find anywhere else
otherwise it have no point, just play CS or Valo...
