#Explosives interact with some materials incorrectly

Server-side behaviour, so game version and OS should not matter.

When throwing/using explosives, immediate contact with some materials will result in instant detonation or other odd behaviour. These materials or collision boxes of some form are triggering the explosive to perform some kind of action outside of normal behaviour. These include:

  • Grenade - immediate detonation
  • Smoke Grenade - immediate detonation
  • GL - immediate detonation
  • Implosion - phases out of existence, but can still be activated

Other explosives already explode on impact and do not have any visible difference in activity. Laser Trip Mines also place with no issue and do not get triggered.

Other forms of projectiles like the crossbow bolts do not change behaviour and stick out of these materials like normal.

Would this also be the case for the openings in Pyramid map for 4v4?

Oh, and it needs to be a direct hit to the material. Bouncing into the material does not trigger the behaviour (except for Implosion Grenades if it partially phased through a wall and continues to roll in before having the model physically despawned).

While it is not map-specific, Office by far has the most easy spots to find this material/collision type in the game. A vast majority of the halls on the top floor trigger this behaviour.

This reminds me of the old RPG behaviour where your rocket would not be shot when looking at certain materials. My hope is that this is a similar fix for Dipper.
