What exactly is the task of the "leader"? Because if I am appointed as the "leader" and can do nothing for 10 minutes other than slowly walk around, I will quickly leave the game out of boredom. And what happens if a "leader" leaves the game during a match? How does it work exactly? How is a winning team determined if no "leader" is killed? And what are the benefits that this game mode adds to the game?

I am trying to make it clear that a suggestion is more than just an idea. Work it out and provide as much detail as possible.

The only relation I can see is that the ''leader'' can't use any weapons, like if had the package

Essentially, the leader gets the added bonus of giving the team buffs. They also would be the only ones allowed to use air strike. As for the buffs, they could give teammates event abilities.

We could add the ability to use sidearms and melee, but without speed modifiers.

Even with all that, being ''severely'' slowed down, no weapons other then airstrike and will cause the leader to leave the game

I think a "Juggernaut" mode is better idea

Give a player an limited time weapon that is very strong

Make the mode real deathmatch (no teams)

Person who gets the most kills win (obviously being juggernaut will help that)

Yeah I think the leader would leave from boredom

the flipside is the leader finds some nasty spot to hide in

some easy to camp and defend spot that is difficult for the enemy team to breach

or even access potentially

juggernaut tends to be the direction modes like this take

because everyone bands together on a clear shared enemy

and the juggernaut can still shoot and is engaged as well

Instead of a leader, I would go more for just a bot. But that leans a lot towards just escort mode. Might work in maps like office tho.

I've had more than my share of babysitting bots

last thing I want is a mode actually dedicated to doing the thing I hate doing in TDM
