Yes
what would a user be able to do in such a channel?
Spam thank you
I'm appreciated and I would appreciate it if my name were spelled correctly.
saying thanks.
like: "thanks EncryptR for posting all the graphs on weapon damage, and always being so faithful to mod the forums"
or
"i really appreciate all the effort that joja made to fix the little bugs in the .... and the ....."
or
"thanks Red Scone, of all the scones, you are the sconiest"
I guess I should appreciate it that Death Killer 111 didn't spell my name Red Snot.
lol Red Snot
But why? #wb-chat ain't enough possibility?
I doubt the devs go through the chat, i know i don't, i can't keep up with it, and to be honest it's a bit too silly for me at times, i come on, check the suggestions, and change logs, voice channels and such, i don't care for the drivel.
secondly, i have had to piece together and learn the history of warbrokers a bit, i know brrl did a lot or something, i recognize a few other names from the past, but it might be nice to have a gratitude channel, it could serve almost as a wall of fame.
I just know that sometimes a thank you goes a long way. there are people here that deserve a thank you once in a while.
A wall of fame would be interesting though, but not a channel where users write 'Thank You'
it might have to be a hybrid of sorts, encryptR isn't going to go on there and thank himself for all his own hardwork. joja isn't going to nominate himself for wall of fame. on the other hand, it obviously shouldn't just be another chat channel, so would require some amount of moderation or level of maturity to earn the right to post there. if any joe schmoe posts just anything it actually doesn't serve any purpose, so it needs to be somewhat special to be a part of.
its just a thought. like i said thank yous go a long way sometimes. even for the people on the actual game that take their time to help the new guys learn. a little recognition to those that selflessly give would be nice. whether they are teaching noobs or modding discord or coding and devving.
Seeing people being nice to each other and having a good time chatting is all the thanks I need for the small part I contribute here.
The 🤔 reaction exists because people don't want to downvote for fear of appearing they don't appreciate the devs
😨
Because I don't know what he wants with it, unclearness.
man he is getting a new nick
always gonne be called red snot from now on
lol
