Was playing a round of ZBR and had no chicken show in my hands. I swapped weapons and even unequipped and reequipped the chicken to no avail. It was invisible the whole time, but would play the sound and give me the speed boost as normal.

The chicken could be seen held in the inventory menu, just not in first person view

A similar case can be replicated 100% of the time by triggering a "stiff chicken" state. I do not yet have repeatable means to freeze a chicken. Once a chicken has been frozen, opening the leaderboard to see the player list will remove the chicken render from your hands.
Swapping weapons though will return the chicken back when you next equip the chicken (in its frozen state still).
This repeatable method through frozen chickens appears to differ from the case I provided in the opening post.

Possibly swinging ur fists as u pick it up or smt overshadowing the rendering? That's my best guess

In gun game. Couldn't swap weapons to try to resolve it, but it happened the first time I got the chicken, and then later when I fell back to it.

Normally it happens after at least 4 hours of playing
And if you switch to it, the animation goes away and if you press menu, it goes invisible
Probably just your computer not wanting to animate it

if you get to a stiff chicken, you make the chicken invisible by toggling the leaderboard
in order to solve the bug, we need a way to replicate reaching the stiffened state

the starting point of the bug is there
we know properties of the bug (you can make it invisible, or it is somewhere far off the screen)

I went to accept @weak fossil's friend request and when I did he did not show up as a friend, but instead [FUSE] JSDF. jp showed up as a friend
It was the same with another request that then made [FISH] Deebs show up instead
I accept friend requests but different players then come up as friends

This was an explained bug that was caused by constant swings while never swapping the weapon and then dying.
