#Issues with rubberbanding

Hey, I've bought yet another pebblehost server yesterday (my fifth one).
Never had issues before, first time now and it's bad.
The original server I bought was a premium 4 GB memory one. No other addons.
I now upgraded to a 6GB premium one, no addons again, which is what i usually use.
The server is a vanilla+ fabric build.
Everyone on the server is experiencing rubberbanding, lag and teleporting mobs, that just hit u 3 times before you can see it-
I've tried a few things, I added a bunch of optimization mods:
- C2ME
- Krypton
- Lithium
- Starlight
After adding these, performance on the panel improved significantly, memory went down from capping at 4GB to around 2GB used.
Sometimes even less.
The CPU is barely used at all.
Technically, there should be no lag whatsoever, serverside at least, going by those two statistics.
I am running the following mods:
- The above mentioned optimization mods.
- Discord-MC-Chat (a discord chat bridge)
- Fabric API
- Voicechat-Fabric (Simple Voice Chat)
I am running the following Datapacks:
- some vanilla tweaks stuff
- anti enderman grief
- custom netherportals
- more mob heads
- player head drops
- track raw stats
- track stats
- wandering trades
- namecolours (planetminecraft)
Does anyone have an idea about what could be causing the issues?
is it a mod incompatability?
The players are running fabric api and simplevoicechat as well as lithium, sodium and iris shadermod clientside.
I'll attach a screenshot showing server resource usage with 2 players online as well as the console warnings

You can't use/post links, fyi.
you're good, just explaining why it was removed! :)
Ok soo i was going to say
Datapacks are stupidly inefficient
Literally just dont use them server side
Worldgen like terralith is fine
But command datapacks die
So
Go and install spark and get a report
The namecolors one?
Any function based dps
Are you aware of whether this applies to any of the ones used?
hmm
I can just remove them all and see if anything changes i suppose
Send spark report
Its faster and removes the guessing
This guide will show you how to install Spark and teach you about some of its main features.
yes
Idk if this is what you wanted to see
Exactly my saying
I'm really not sure why it is doing this, the setup is identical to the last 4 times i've run this over the past 2 years
And this is the first time it's acting up
:(
did you check people's pings with the tablist
We're all EU based, the server is EU
not really sure why it is rubber banding
also, just saying, i see that the only mod you guys really use is the voie chat mod
Yeah
soo why use fabric?
And i threw on performance stuff as well because why not
client side mods
i would just go for paper instead
The other mod I use is the discord chat bridge
you don't need server side fabric to use client side mods
That's fabric only
yea there's a better version(s) of it for paper
discordsrv
essentials discord
I have never used paper
that's fine
^^'
Is fabric the issue?
i wouldn't say it is
hrm
but i highly recommend yall switch to paper
A Guide on how to setup the Simple Voice Chat Mod / Plugin on your Server
@noble osprey, you just advanced to level 3 !
so no need for a bunch of performance mods
Can you run fabric clientside mods on a paper server?
I assume not?
As for example a minimap mod
Ah whatever I'll read into it
-<
Sorry I'm a bit stressed with this, I've been trying all kinds of things all day, and people have been nagging me about it argh ^^
Thanks for the advice
Mate of mine unloaded the server files onto a different provider and it runs fine there 💤
Really weird that it won't run on pebblehost 😦
idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯
We transferred the server to NA
And have no rubberbanding now
That's so silly
Clearly it is the british who are at fault here yes

Viva la america!
Very odd though, I'll try migrating it backnow, see if that fixes it?
Maybe some parts of the EU server are currently having issues?
They dont want to wait anymore smh, cant blame them we'll just play on the NA servers then unless issues arise I suppose
Therefor, this resolved itself
