#server icon not working

Within this, we'll guide you on how to set a custom server-icon.png to show up in the server list for your Minecraft server
i have the same issue
and none of the tutorials nor faq have helped. my image meets all of the criteria and i have followed all of the instructions to a t and i still see pebblehost
i dont want my server members knowing which host i may have as it is going to be an anarchy server
Ok, so
- Your image is 64x64
- It's name is server-icon.png
- it's a png file
- It's uploaded to the root folder of the server
- You restarted the server after uploading
Please check if all of these are right.
all of the above apply yes
i also refreshed my server list and closed and reopened my game
if it helps, this also happened last time i attempted this on a pebblehost server
only issue ive ever really encountered
If all of these is right it should work. Pebblehost use the same exact technique to host server as other companies
i would assume the file is valid else the directory would recreate the default image file upon launch if otherwise, no?
Yes, most likely but I haven't tried
this is the image, it appears to meet all criteria
though its name is server-icon rather than server-icon.png since i assume windows automatically appending file types gives it the proper name, yes?
since it shows up as .png in the root directory
oh
@restive minnow, you just advanced to level 1 !
