Ive got a modpack that takes alot. the pack has overloaded its players' ticks and bytes. its crashed multiple times for the same reason. And I have revisioned the pack to take out some taxing mods. there are many client side mods to help players run smoothly. But the server may still suffer. I need to know if there's something I can do to lift the weight off the server. I still have all of the server's current information if thats needed to find out what has to be done.
#Do you know any server performance mods? or modifications to its properties?

first, list of the number of mods and your plan
second did you install lithium
do you need the list OF the mods or how many is in there?
how many and what your plan is
my plan is to get my server to run smoothly with my friends on it. if Im lucky, I can get 7 people
the mod count is 258 currently
no i mean your server plan
like premium/budget and how many gb
pretty high and combined with your recent mc version that's kind of taxing
that's abt average for a server this size
lithium is the only mod i know of for modded server performance
otherwise upgrading is prob ur best bet
this is the crash log, if you need to see whats been crashing it
its been the exact same message about 4 times now
thats for fabric, sadly
if there are no other crash logs or large error msgs before this near the same time then this is just you server lagged out
I just need to know if theres anything I can do to ease this, so incase something similar happens later on, it wont crash the server and instead just lag
as it stands, no one can log in
well, removeing mods or upgrading
I just found a bunch of server performance mods for 1.16.5 Forge
they only help so much
at the end of the day if your server is lagging that much it prob won't stand
but you can try ofc
MCMT
AI Improvements
Performant
RandomPatches
and FerriteCore which I already had
hey, anything to make it easier
not really
modded servers are not known for performance
Im well aware, yet there are modded servers with more mods than mine and yet less lag
so Im positive its possible I can do the same
@grim gyro, you just advanced to level 8 !
u might have heavy mods and they prob have better specs
just realized, budget can't handle big modpacks
premium is best
I agree, the owner of the server whos graciously let me put my stuff on it. he hasnt got as much money as needed for premium. which is why we have budget
unforntually not much u can do abt that
thank you for your time. and next time, when someone asks for server performance mods. you can give them these.
or possibly more if they're on later versions of forge
np
@grim gyro best advice i can give you is pregen your world, aikar's jvm args and dont use too many heavy mods
smooth chunk save plugin might be good
