#modded server vs single player

I honestly don't think so. Plus you'd have a ping to deal with when running it on a server.
The only potential benefit is you can offload some of the processing to the server, but that only presents a noticeable difference if you have a really crappy computer
Oh neat, thank you 😮
there is one benefit:
a lot of modpacks allow you to chunkload stuff like your farms, on a server chunkloaded stuff will continue to work when you have the game closed, in singleplayer chunkloaded stuff will only continue to work while you are in the game
It’s noticeable on big modpacks as sometimes it can save you 3-4GB of ram usage
If u are on diff networks there is all the networking stuff u can ignore
@fringe plume, you just advanced to level 36 !
huh what you mean?
Port forwarding
That is on the same network not on different
?
You said if your are on a different networks
Yes
Port fowarding is for if u are on diff networks
You say you can ignore it if your on a different network
that was why i was confused
Insaid u cna ignore the networking stuff if u are using a server
that's not what you said, that may be what you meant, but you said that you can ignore it if you are on different networks
yea i meant that i what I meant
if you think about it makes sense
