Hoping someone can help me figure out how to set up mods in my 1.19 server without losing my existing world. Auto modpack set up is easy. But for setting custom mods and not a modpack, what do I pick? Custom jar? Forge 1.19? Etc.
Also wondering if anyone has experience with Oh The Biomes You'll Go and if you think 8gb of ram on a laptop is enough to run it without lag?

Select forge. 8GB can be a little short but you off load the server part to the server so that will help
It should work if you don’t throw too much mods at it

Is there a difference between selecting Forge under "Other" vs "Other preinstalls"? Or is it simply that preinstalls will set up the forge jar for me if paid for?
