So im trying to add some doors to the mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2887839342
I'm trying to follow this guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2970880364 but its really not very helpful and the doors i try to make just do not appear in the editor. Yes I am using PGUP to reload assets to test. The Door im trying to make is in the same folder as all the other doors. It is a modified example door. Said door does not have a GUID whereas all the others do.
#Do I need a GUID? If so, how do I get one?

if you need a guid google up guid generator and generate one
did you copy a dat file from the mod itself? or is this from scratch also i think "Type Large"is probably wrong as i doubt a door is large
also for your override path i dont see a "Standard LBrown" (at least in the guide you provided)
check for errors in Main menu > Workshop > Error logs
they're all set to large by the mod maker
Im editing an example DAT file provided by the mod maker in the mod files
because it isnt listed since it has no key
the .DAT for standard LBrown
Can you explain how to use them

Alright sorry i got sidetracked yesterday, I tried it and it didn't work then I generated 2 more tried both of those neither worked

to make sure its drawing from the correct one
is the original mod also in the bundles
as overrides requires the bundle it references from

Okay, the og mod was tied into a map
I copied the bundles folder from said map
into my map
and tried to make new doors
Anything outside of the bundles folder, I do not have
