Master_Bundle_Override & Bundle_Override_Path?
Facing a new issue.
found it
seems like my generator broke
and im dumb xd
replaced Master_Bundle_Override with Exclude_From_Master_Bundle
and still isnt fixed
(new .dat)
First off, remove Exclude_From_Master_Bundle.
Also, file naming is horrible, why is the .dat named after the ID.
because theres 500 of em
so i just made a generator
Got it.
Might be easier to experiement with a module that copies assets and changes their GUIDs, IDs, and names quick.
But moving on.
okay.
You have a bundles folder.
The folder containing the MasterBundle.dat is technically the LDGChristmasEvent folder.
The 1:1 file setup starts there.
Next up, you have an ID of 5000, please go higher than that
your are in dangerous territory with that
especially considering curated maps use some of the lower ranges.
its a mod thats made to be used in a specific environment
Got it
the ids dont collide with the mods used with it
still got the missing item gameobject errors
changed the folder's name to the masterbundle folder name in unity
@blazing horizon still coudlnt fix it, did what you told me,looked trought my structure
Which would be?
hmm
if you create a regular item for the thing, does it then work?
like, not an override.
alr im back
you mean following the masterbundle path?
ChristmasEventItem is nested within the LDGChristmasEvent folder
just put it in the main one and try that
since the bundle path designates the main mod folder as the LDGChristmasEvent folder
nope
<@&553315866146766850> Please help.
Following the exact masterbundle path as well.
the item gameobject exists
naming is correct as well
Thats a Generic error that could be caused by a lot of things
What Unity Version are you using?
Could you show how you set up your masterbundle in Unity and in the file explorer?
.
The 'preview' branch of Unturned is using Unity version 2021.3.29f1.
Well
Pretty sure that the issue is that your .masterbundle files are outside of your Bundles folder, move them inside
jdance told me the masterbundle has to be in a folder named the same as the one where the assets bundle is attached to
In Unity
MyCoolBundles (with assetbundle tag
mycoolbundles.masterbundle)Items
Lollipop
Item
Animations
Use
In file explorer
Named Anything
mycoolbundles.masterbundle
mycoolbundles.manifest
MasterBundle.dat
ItemsLollipop
English.dat
Lollipop.dat
alright will try
Thats how you should set it up
Its important that the names of the folders such as Items and Lollipop are spelt The Exact Same
will try dat, can you quickly check https://discord.com/channels/324229387295653889/1191334443844116500
@formal oriole indeed it works!
oh
I think I get it now.
@violet ore stop putting stuff in the main Bundles folder
Use the 'Sandbox' folder like a normal person.
Now that I think about it, that was probably the issue all along.
alright, im not that much into to real "modding" part of unturned as im into plugins
Yep I know. But now you'll know that normal people use the 'Sandbox' folder.
And you'll never forget now.
thanks xd
Don't ever put bundles within directories of bundles
it messes stuff up, wish the game handled it better.
alright
also in what docs is the amount bullets inside the mag found? cant found int in magazine nor caliber docs
magazine
found out its "Amount"
Odd it isn't there
That is for the magazine asset right?
I'll make an issue about it.
its for like every item but yeah
not every
