And you are launching it as an Internet server?

mystic verge
#

its a vps with areodactyl panel

mystic verge
#

?

cursive sandal
#

Do you have it specified to launch as an internet server in your launch .bat file? Oh and it may say in like the first 30 lines if its a LAN server

rapid tree
#

all the ptero eggs I've seen would launch as internet by default

cursive sandal
#

U3DS launches as LAN by default

#

Or mine does

rapid tree
#

chances are if it's possible to direct connect to it it is on the server list as well, though maybe not visible to OP - alternatively it may not have been around long enough for it to be listed yet

#

the server masterlist is a fickle beast

#

Oh i missed that he said that

rapid tree
#

if OP can send logs we could check for sure but honestly I'd be surprised if there was an issue if the server is direct connectable

#

actually do monetization filters affect listing nowadays?

#

as in if you don't have one set

cursive sandal
#

Oh well he should getting a friend to try connecting to it using the direct connect thingy

rapid tree
#

it's on a vps

cursive sandal
rapid tree
#

isn't it not set by default

#

I will note that "none" is an option on it :p

cursive sandal
#

The global config that nelson has on his website has it allowed for servers using None as monetization

rapid tree
# rapid tree it's on a vps

(meaning that assuming that's a rented vps and not one OP is selfhosting, well, if OP can connect so should anyone else be able to)

cursive sandal
#

None is fine.

rapid tree
#

yeah, but is it none by default

cursive sandal
#

Yes so it doesnt matter

cursive sandal
cursive sandal
#

Yes it is that by default iirc

#

You think that his search options are too strict or what?

rapid tree
#

I somehow just managed to crash a test instance for this

#
"Monetization": "Unspecified",

by default

cursive sandal
#

Yeah but that wont hide it in the server list

mystic verge
#

heyy

#

yeah you can connect to it via direct connection

#

its just not showing up on master list

#

monetization is unspecified on both servers

mystic verge
rapid tree
#

you can just post them here :p

mystic verge
#

what part do i send you and how do i do it? sorry for all the questions but im new to this and i've been non stop learning since 3 days ago

rapid tree
#

just send the entire latest log file from the Logs directory

mystic verge
#

sorry, wheres the logs directory?

rapid tree
#

/home/cointainer/Logs on ptero

mystic verge

[2023-08-24 11:00:24] Successfully bound IP to 0.0.0.0!
this is the only part that I believe shouldn't happen - the IP shouldn't be bound to anything

#

but if it's connectable I doubt it's causing the issue, it's just something that you shouldn't have

#

there's a slight possibility plugins could be causing something, but I doubt it

#

you could try restarting the server and seeing if it shows up after but chances are as long as you can connect to it it should show up, even if it doesn't show up for you

mystic verge
#

200.14.81.240 ip and port 27025

rapid tree
#

generally that'd be caused by there being a bind command somewhere

#

startup command and the commands.dat file are the two that you could probably find such a thing in

mystic verge
#

name [LATAM] Los Pibardos #1 |HOME|TPA|VAULT|KIT|
perspective both
map Arid
mode normal
maxplayers 64

#

./Unturned_Headless.x86_64 -batchmode -nographics -ThreadedConsole -map Washington -perspective first -mode easy -name Test-Server -bind 0.0.0.0 -port 27025 -maxplayers 24 +secureserver/unturned

#

found it

#

its on startup

#

ok, deleted that line and starting again

mystic verge
rapid tree
#

yeah, as I said it probably isn't related

#

the only thing I'd potentially test is if a clearserver (with just the GSLT and maybe name set, no plugins/mods) shows up

#

but in general I do expect that the server does show up, maybe just not for you

mystic verge
#

it works now, it just had to have 1 player online at least

#

thank you so much karma!
