is there a way to export vanilla animations to blender or edit them in some other way? also @runic mist you said to remind you about this sometime

I know, I'm sorry, just been busy

#

got mixed up in dealing with the Discord Gateway API.

#

I have no idea if my planned method of doing that works, so I need to get to testing it.

take your time, I appreciate it

It may be a while, currently in an argument with my own creation.

#

But it has something to do with decompiling the bundles.

he just wants to greet you

ripe locust
#

do you need to go as far as decompiling the bundles? (most of the relevant) animations are in the unity examples

Alright solved that issue, checking the animations now.

#

@ripe locust Which animation of the viper did you want again?

#

I assume the problem you are having is that Blender is saying ASCII files are not supported?

ripe locust
#

yea thats my issue, i converted them before with FBX 2013.3 and it seems to have broken them
i would prefer a larger thing then just "the viper animations" since there are many other projects id like to do

#

might have done it wrong tho, im very new to blender as well

runic mist

I just tried the FBX auto converter too

ripe locust
#

hmm, are there other options if conversion is not possible?

runic mist
#

The thing is, what the auto convert outputs seems to be half correct.

#

like the bones are there and you can see the animation when you play it.

that won't be useful in that state tho would it?
is there other options then?
