Would it be possible to create an attachment for the weapons in the game? An attachment something similar to the tactical flashlight, but instead of turning on to make the light, it fires by pressing the B or other key.

The "firing system" would have to be made entirely from unity using scripts (you could use a trap/rocket script to simulate firing when the attachment is turned on)

long answerr: first person and 3rd person are completely different things and your attachment would only work in 3rd person because when in 1st person, your character is moved under the map, you are just a floating camera with a render of your arms on your screen

nelson has plans to change this but until then, no, it's not exactly possible
