make sure to pick everything up that you can

buut i recommend only scanning some things at some points, cuz it might break things
don't forget doing some tasks in a seabase, that also breaks some things in my experience
like drinking water
it still recovers your thirst, but it doesn't remove the item icon for that fluid
leaving and rejoining fixes it
I actually have another bug/problem, though I am unsure if it is correlated with the mod
When I first load in, the power transmitters don't connect to anything, resulting in my base having no power
but when i select the power transmitter in the building menu, and get within range, the power transmitter updates, and reconnects to my base
it happens everytime i load in
Another bug i've encountered is attempting to change the batteries of a tool whilst not submerged in water
pressing the key to change batteries brings up the legend, but not the batteries themselves
I am stuck in this mode; it doesn't respond to any other key presses, and i cannot change the batteries
the only way to fix this is by quitting and reloading
I play C2C on hard and it is not that different
are you going to ask how to get every single thing the mod adds, without having tried anything first

i believe the game checks the surroundings of the transmitter before connecting to the soon-to-be-placed transmitter

though that was seven months ago and I had covid at the time so my memory is less reliable from that time than usual

it was the Large Filtered Water
that bug has happened to me only when drinking or eating items that are from structures added by the mod

You can use the command to erase your inventory to get rid of those bugged items in your inventory, just make sure to unequip all your items and put your non-bvugged items in a container.

Good luck, ||the liquid tank is located at the deepest point of the underwater islands in a wreck, be EXTREMELY careful/quiet, there is a Ghost Leviathan nearby the wreck. You also need to be quick, the wreck is 500m deep, so you will take damage in some areas. Don't forget to check the vents as well, there is a blueprint for a seamoth propulsion mod (basically a dash).||

True 2.0 world really be nice .. but it still rocks as is on legacy. Playing now and truly having some of the most fun I've had in a long time. Btw .... I believe this has been noted but just wanted to add. I used to get alot of lag when in base. Then I saw something about ||volcanic ash filter|| I tried it what they said about deconstructing it and make lag has completely disappeared. Also found that material spawn at volcanic geysers was causing major lag but grav trap thingy every once in a while and picking up extra ore and throwing dead fish into bioreactor also sends to help
yeah, geysers could probably use a cleanup feature

One thing I've noted with fcs .... you can download the recipes for free if you don't have the transport thing made yet. Don't have mats to make transport delivery thing just yet to set of it will deduct money once it's built but have personally stopped using fcs stuff until I can test that

for me it only happens with large wrecks with electricity in them, and every second i stay there, the lag just gets worse and worse

In base FCS, the drone is used to request the delivery of packaged machines, because they don’t have recipes. C2C changes this such that purchasing a machine grants the player a recipe for that machine, no delivery required
Yup ... so my thought is, is that it might be connected somehow because in base fcs you cannot buy anything until you have both terminal and drone built. But like I said it'll take me a while cuz I gotta get up armor. So update as soon as i can unless someone beats me to it

some even said I should not put things in that cave as a result

even in four playthroughs (three C2C) and tons of testing

but this only ever happened when teleporting there
which makes some sense as it basically loaded in the reaper before the terrain loaded in
well their fear was very much fair

I've actually had reaper mesh through the cave walls a couple of times. Didn't knownit wasn't supposed to be there especially after reading logs. I just run away screaming but it was weird seeing it's head sticking outa the wall

SolidTerrain generally does fix this issue yes
it's a fairly common issue in basegame, the reaper being on the wrong side of the island
my understanding of it is that the reaper loads in before terrain collision, and swims inside the island
and once it's in there it can just pass through everything until it's back outside of the island
so it can end up swimming all the way through and showing up on the wrong side (or maybe it senses the player through the wall, and that's what makes it swim over there?)
or, in a worst case scenario, it can swim into the island cave, at which point it can't leave AFAIK
(unless you unload the terrain again and just wait)
I have had it show up on the wrong side myself in vanilla, I got lucky and it didn't happen in my C2C run
Having it show up inside the cave is nightmarish lol
I did have a funny subset of this bug happen with the Bulb Zone reaper in my C2C run though
where I'm guessing it clipped slightly into the ground before the terrain loaded, and then when the terrain did load it caused the reaper to get shot off at hyperspeed so I just heard it roar for like, a single second
and then I never saw it again, I'm guessing it got despawned by the game or something
maybe i should recommend always including SolidTerrain with C2C
oh uhm, also i didnt see the crab near the ||sea treader base|| 😅

well i dont think the lightest of devices can run c2c either
yeah SolidTerrain makes the game significantly heavier in some situations from my experience
but it's like, different from the lag issues I get with C2C, which seem to be entirely disconnected from PC strength
when I'm getting lag with C2C the game isn't stressing my PC out at all, it's weird
SolidTerrain just makes the game use more CPU power

the wreck with ||the liquid rebreather|| for some reason is just constantly very laggy
for me literally every large wreck is laggy
its becuase of the lightning is what im assuming
the electricity sparks from the wiring
causes a lagspike every second, which gets stronger the deeper youre in/the more ur in/near the wreck
i really do think whatever lag issues are happening in legacy will like 99% be gone in 2.0

i guess maybe broken databoxes work while at 0% cuz its a different thing, being completely modded
and repairable doors may have some sort of set value that the devs made cuz other values broke stuff
or like they are coded differently so it gets confused by the 0% doors

on nexus it told me it needed unity manager
this can be done by opoening the runtime editor UI and clicking the door, while having a line of sight to it not blocked by other things
