Hello,
I could play normal yesterday. At work I played on mobile; at home I played on desktop.
Today I could play normally at work.

I got home and the Jagex Launcher had an unspecified issue. So I tried reinstalling it -> same issue.
I looked for different Launchers (maybe Jagex had an issue on yesterdays update?) and tried Bolt.

Obviously, I had to login to my account on the new launcher, so I click the button, which opened an in-build browser to jagex-login:

Sorry, you have been blocked.
The message states that the connection is blocked, not the account.

I am now unsure, if this was caused by trying to connect with the 3rd party Launcher Bolt or if the block was before.
I would rly like to know when was or why am I blocked?

I can't send an official ticket, because I am blocked.
The AI-chat bot is horrific; it is trapped in a loop.

How can you contact Jagex to resolve that issue? (Do I have to phone them? Oo)

(I tried the usual fixes. It seems they don't like my IP? what happened while I was at work?)
At work I afk 1 acc
At home I afk ~4+ accs and maybe play actively on 1 while watchin yt.
lately i've been afk-ing ~6 accs. 5 of these build a GIM; two have 1 year payed memb.

I want to know why i am blocked (or i want my money back, tbh)

so first off, this isn't a ban

#

This is cloudfare being cloudfare

#

You said you tried the usual fixes, what fixes have you tried

vital quiver
#

ah, cloudflare is the prob

#

restarting router, restarting pc, reinstalling launcher

#

5 different browser with and without ad-blocker

spare ether
#

VPN?

vital quiver
#

would tried that next... but never used one

spare ether
#

Well it was more to make sure you weren't using one

vital quiver
#

and dont want to use one just for jagex launcher, tbh

spare ether
#

What browsers did you try

vital quiver
#

ff, libre, chrome, edge and w3m

spare ether
#

Okay. Is your date/time correct?

vital quiver
#

ye, checked that

spare ether
#

So you could try changing your DNS settings

#

But in all likelyhood this is just a routing issue with your ISP and it will resolve on its own

vital quiver
#

hmm

spare ether
#

Can you do a hotspot from your phone?

vital quiver
#

i am not 100% sure but i think i have different DNS options in different browsers

#

nah, i dont have mobile traffic... use w-lan at work x'D

spare ether
#

Well, its an option to test it if you can.

#

If you can do a wifi hotspot from a mobile device and it connects, backs up the theory that its a provider issue

vital quiver
#

I've checked browser. i have most with default DNS from provider, but some with NextDNS.

#

I could try connecting via mobile data - my desktop has no w-lan, so hot-spot wouldnt help :D

#

(didnt buy any w-lan stuff, when i've build the PC)

#

with mobile data i have no issue connecting.

#

(that short bit was rly expensive... don't have any volume contract or how its called in english >.<)

I'm having exactly the same issue. Tried a lot of different things. It works when connecting through my mobile hotspot, but not with my normal setup.

What worked for me now was opening the Jagex Launcher with mobile data, then switching over to my standard connection

Seems like it

spare ether
#

Its a cloudfare problem

#

Its the captcha/security check thing

sigh
