#Falsely banned while troubleshooting Runelite problem

I was troubleshooting my runelite client in the runelite discord as I was experiencing severe delays that abruptly started. I was also changing clients between runelite and HDoS to provide to the runelite staff to see what the issue was. Felanbird from runelite support discord, had advised that he disabled the music replacer plugin as he was able to replicate the issue that myself and another user was experiencing. He advised to restart the client, the issue should be fixed. I go to log back in and I was banned for macroing major on my group ironman. I have NEVER macro'd or botted or even caught a mute on any one of my accounts in all my years of playing and don't plan to begin breaking rules now. Can someone from the team PLEASE look into this mistake.

Edit 1: I was able to submit an appeal form after originally not being able to. Hopefully with all the snippets they can take a look into this. I'm begging to please remove the offence

You'll just have to wait out the appeal process unfortunately. Keep us posted with any updates you get when you get a response!

I will I'm just so torn as I was extremely excited for today's update but I pray whomever looks at the appeal can see the mistake

I have this same issue. My first appeal has been denied

I was messing with my plugins when i suddenly got that lag issue, when i restarted my client i was banned for macroing

I'm seeing reports on the RuneLite Discord that other players who received a ban for this have been unbanned, you should check again 🙂
