#Let quick prayers ignore Preserve and Rapid Heal/Restore if not selected

Why would this change be beneficial? If it leaves Preserve or Rapid Heal on, then you will still see the full prayer drain if you flick your other prayers during those ticks they are being used.
You can see this when you attempt to lazy flick prayers with a prayer maintained on the entire time, such as Rapid Heal or Preserve
You'd have it enabled in your quick prayers. So you would still be able to flick rapid heal/restore and preserve, but when you're not flicking you'd have the option to not select them in quick prayers and camping them with quick prayers becomes possible. Literally no downsides!
the prayer flicking exploit only works when you go from no prayer points drained to a prayer active, tricking the game into thinking the first tick of the prayer costs zero. This is literally the only caveat to prayer flicking, is that you can't use these two prayers
I have the opinion that 0-tick flicking is bad for the game. We shouldn't have free resources even if for skill expression. This just buffs that.
Another point of view, the way flicking works means that they would probably need to dredge out code from maybe '02/03 and rework it. I'm not saying they couldn't do it, but I don't think it's worth it for just this.
I think you guys don't understand what I'm saying, it's so you can camp preserve while turning on and off your quick prayers
So it's meant for people that don't prayer flick

Here I have to manually deselect Protect from Melee and Mystic Vigour, because otherwise my Preserve would go out
Quick prayers are already a concession to turning on and off multiple prayers already. You used to have to do that manually. What you are suggesting is outside the scope of what quick prayer was originally designed to accomplish. Yes, it turns off all your prayers. That's what it was designed to do.
That's an appeal to tradition fallacy, but ok
It's this way, because it was always this way, so you come to the conclusion that it was meant to be this way
I come to this conclusion because prayer is about turning your prayers on an off. That's the only thing it's about. We don't need extra rules or exceptions with the core system.
We have a tool of convenience, and that's the way it should stay, a convenience. If you want something more complicated, interact with the system.
Preserve turning off and turning it back on means it no longer works at 13 seconds from when the boost ticks. We need an exception for that, because of that.
nah, I don't think so
you want to preserve prayer points, exploit the 1 tick flick. you want to preserve boosts, keep preserve on and lazy flick
Yes, I know that there are other options when you want to flick, but what if you don't want to flick?
then just camp prayers with prayer gear
Quick prayers actually do leave prayers on when activating them. It used to be that it would turn them off. Disabling quick prayers does disable all prayers though
