Hey y’all im having a issue here, I requested to delete my old ironman account i never played and when I got sent this email normally in the text you would see the username of the account being deleted instead I got this, i do not know if this means ALL of my accounts will be deleted, I sent a reply right after i sent the request on the 18th now its the 20th and i havent received a reply back and im worried bc im approaching the 72hour mark and i do not want to delete all of my accounts by accident, if someone who had this problem before or can tell me what this email means i appreciate save me from having a heart attack lol

Was this a legacy account? If it is I don't see how it would be linked to everything else. The text is quite clear it only refers to that account without an active character name

Im sorry but what do you mean by legacy account? and tbe account i was wanting to delete has a username which why i was also confused by this email

A legacy account is one that you log into with a username or email, a Jagex account can hold all your accounts

You also log into a Jagex account by typing in the email you upgraded on, and then you go through 2FA and select the account you wanna play on from a list

Oh ok this account is under my Jagex account and I only have 2 characters the ironman and my main

Okay then in that case I would recommend replying to the email clarifying that you only want to delete the ironman and to keep your main and the Jagex account just to be safe

which is did reply i sent a reply immediately after i read the email but i still havent got a reply back, so not only am i approaching the 72 hour mark buts the weekend is tomorrow and i know Jagex close which makes me worried..

A jmod will manually review your response, I am just worried as well because it says that it will permanently disable the account that you log in to with

and im never gonna submit it through the OSRS mobile app because when i delete mt other ironmans on pc i never had this issue

You cannot delete individual characters from a jagex account - you can hide them but not delete them, so I am not sure what you mean by that. If you filled out this information here that is for your entire account to be deleted, not just one character. So if that account also has your main on it I would suggest replying and telling jagex to not delete the account.

You can always hide characters and they won't show up in your jagex launcher but requesting a deletion is for the entire account

You cannot delete single characters in a jagex account.

Yeah I've checked with everyone else and I think the consensus is that you opened a ticket to delete your entire Jagex Account.

To be safe just reply that you don't want that. You can just hide the character if you don't want to see it.

If you don't mind, could you also share with us how you managed to delete individual accounts on the JA through the pc previously?

Well I did not know this, last time when i deleted a account it was years ago but i am pretty sure this was before we had to import our accounts to the Jagex launcher, I did reply to Jagex the day of submitting that request. I just hope a mod sees my reply before it gets deleted.. but thanks for the help y’all I appreciate it!

Yeah that was correct, once you submitted this ticket after the JA was made this form will delete your entire JA too. Don't worry all deletions are handled manually by a jmod so if you have replied within 72h saying you don't want to, it won't be closed.
