#Make leagues rewards one time use.

The value of leagues rewards is massively below the values of DMM rewards. although this is also due to the amount of people that play these game modes, i believe this is also down to DMM rewards being 1 time use and leagues being able to unequip and trade them again. i figure this wouldn't be possible to make the existing ones in the game untradable but from the next leagues onwards maybe bring them inline with DMM rewards.

Frankly, they should do the opposite and make DMM removable.
It's news to me that DMM items are one time use, and frankly, that smells of "rare item" vibes like old phats.
OSRS decided to not have those, so we shouldn't be introducing ways to create pseudo ones either.

im all for dmm rewards becoming removable, unkitted

They work different to leagues as you take the scroll to an npc and it unlocks multiple rewards when you take the specific weapons/armour to him he’ll put the kit on

I think it'll be good, people will be less afraid to take orn kitted items out pking since they won't have to buy another scroll.

I don't see the correlation between a one-time use kit and old discontinued rares lol, first of all there's no way to recover the kits, for example if you buy the cape fabric and go use it at Nigel, that's it, sunk cost you can never get it back, but what it enables you to do is come use as many MA2 capes as you want on him to kit them. It's a perma-unlock, infinite kit, which is what OP is suggesting Leagues rewards should work like too, like if you buy a League cosmetic you should burn it up by using it on someone, the League Tutor or whoever else, but in return you're able to kit as many eligible items as you want. I do think the way DMM kits work is superior, they're more expensive for that reason, anyone who buys one is taking one out of the game assuming they bought it to use it and not flip it etc.

But the correlation to phats/discontinued rares doesn't exist because like I said, #1 you cannot get these back once you've used them up, sure in theory you can buy one to hold but as long as Jagex keeps running DMMs this isn't a problem/a good idea, and #2 as I alluded to, they still run DMM seasonals regularly and you can use new seasonal points on old season rewards so for example, when the current DMM ends, Armageddon kits and cape fabrics should absolutely crash in price before eventually recovering over the next few months.

Personally I love how dmm rewards work. I love fashionscape/kits I actually lost a few void kits on my ironman and have such switched to using a different setup. If I could just risk the 4 parchments I would be much more inclined to use void again and the pker would also get more gp for killing me as im risking an additional 2m gp from the parchments

Fully support, as it enables infinite use for people who like the item and don't want to risk it.

(Also, I hate how I have to hold onto the Twisted Blueprint if I ever want to change my POH style. Just have it be consumed like every other new unlockable style)

Oh another side rant. I dislike how the GotR recolor to the pet is tied to the item that a one time consumption to toggle between it and the golem (Like the Forestry transmogs of the beaver)

It is very inconsistent. Imo they really should do a sweepup for cosmetics like this

hopefully seeing how well the dmm rewards work, this will be changed in future. if not the same then something similar to make them permanent. even if you just use the scroll on the specific item and it changes that item to the cosmetic version but makes the scroll untradable from that point. this could be good and could also bring a cosmetic bag or something to store the specific scrolls in to stop them cluttering up the bank. this may be easier to change the current style of rewards instead of a full rework
