I think everyone deserves a straight answer as to why you’re still looking for a group after six or seven months of supposedly “trying.” At this point it’s not bad luck—it’s a pattern. Every group you’ve been in has ended the same way: you either griefed, barely showed up, or gave people a dozen other reasons not to want to play with you.
Let’s be honest about the biggest issues. First, you don’t have the experience you claim to have. Second, you don’t put in the time required to actually be useful to a group. And third, nobody even knows if you’ll still be around in a month, let alone for the one-to-two-year commitment you keep talking about. Reliability matters, and you’ve shown none.
And then there’s the elephant in the room: the nonstop religious preaching. People play video games to escape real life, not to get a sermon every five minutes. Nobody wants religion shoved down their throat while they’re trying to relax and play a game. It’s exhausting, it’s awkward, and it’s a huge reason people don’t want to stick around you.
So yeah, that’s why you’re still “looking for a group.” Not because people are unfair or because you haven’t been given chances—but because every chance you’ve been given has ended the same way. Until you fix the experience gap, the lack of commitment, and the constant need to push your beliefs on everyone else, don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Are you going to address any of the other reasons I listed, or are you just going to nitpick one example and pretend that’s a rebuttal? I’ve been in your group before—you just don’t remember my name. And honestly, if 5–6 different people are all telling you the same thing, maybe it’s time to stop deflecting and actually look in the mirror.

I don’t give a single fuck who you believe in. Literally nobody here asked to hear the gospel, a sermon, a testimony, or whatever other bullshit you feel compelled to preach. Not once. Not ever. This is a gaming space, not a church, not a therapy group, and definitely not your personal pulpit.
The fact that you still don’t understand that is exactly why you will never find a serious group. This entire thread is a perfect, self-contained example. You don’t read the room, you don’t respect boundaries, and you somehow think everyone else is the problem when the common denominator is very obviously you.
People want teammates who show up, pull their weight, and shut the fuck up about irrelevant nonsense. What they get instead is someone with mediocre experience, inconsistent availability, zero long-term reliability, and an unstoppable need to inject religion into every waking minute of gameplay. That’s not depth, that’s not passion—that’s just exhausting.
No one is “out to get you.” No one is discriminating against you. People just don’t want to deal with someone who turns a game into a lecture and then wonders why nobody sticks around. If you can’t separate your personal beliefs from a hobby that’s meant to be fun, social, and drama-free, then yeah—this is as good as it gets for you.
So stop acting confused. Stop pretending you’re unlucky. This thread is proof, in real time, of why you’ll never be part of a serious, long-term group.
