This doesn’t really make sense in osrs like it does in wow, osrs travel is very convenient you can just meet up to trade instantly. Counter to wow where one person in stormwind trying to give an item to someone in silithus its going to take a while to get there, so might as well mail it. And then the obvious trading to alts you can just login on both at the same time in osrs unlike in wow where you need to use the mailing system

The point of suggestions is for people to weigh in on them, and this seems like a very complex system you're wanting for a very small benefit. If your friend isn't online for 5 days while your items or gp just sits there and waits, what's the point of the mail system
Just arrange a time to log on together and grab what you need from each other.
I don't think people loaning out gp or items are going to want to tax the transaction for the very small benefit of being able to do it offline

Yeah ive played a ton of mmos i just figured the OP was describing wow’s since he pretty much explained it to a tee. It’s also the most commonly known one to have this exact system. Regardless it makes sense in other mmos just not in a world as small as osrs’s
