Can't enter certain shared houses from mobile

What content is primarily affected:
Certain houses are consistently inaccessible from mobile, saying the the house owner is "offline, or has privacy mode enabled".
Immediately switching to PC allows entering the house.

I've contacted a house owner in w465 and debugged this with him, he has all of his privacy settings configured correctly, and we even added each other as friends - still couldn't access his house from mobile.

Do you know of a current work around?:
Instead of using w465, I switch to w330 which has more houses, and the chances to find a house that does work is bigger (still some houses have this issue in w330).

Attached two videos, one from mobile, showing im blocked to enter house of player "Not Needed", then switching to PC and entering it without issue.

I would encourage you to make a bug report ingame or via the website. https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001355429-Report-a-bug

I’ll see what I can do to about bring awareness about this to staff.

Also try to see if you can update your game to the most recent game version.

I think you have to add the house owner to your friends list then on the portal options manually enter their name and it enters or something like that

Well - after testing - it's the official client as well that has this issue- BUT, I'm able to enter someone else's home AFTER they added their home on the advertisement board.

I would like to recommend if they were to remove their name from the advertisement board and add it back again.

Tried that, couldnt join even after they added the house.
And never had this issue on the official client

FYI This workaround works

If they have a SPACE IN THEIR NAME you will be required to "enter friends house" on the poh portal and manually type out their name correctly (capitalization doesnt matter, only correct letters/numbers and spaces).

Once you have entered that house at least once doing it manually, you can visit last on the birdhouse/ad board to quickly re-enter their home

If you visit any other players house then obviously the "visit last" will go wherever was last, which means if you are checking out other POHs and then wanna go back you gotta manually enter their name correctly again

Thanks for sharing about it only affecting names with a space! Does the dev team aware of this? Sounds like an easy fix to align the string sent to contain or remove the space...

And regarding visit last - neat trick but only works when used in the same session where already put the name manually, so gotta keep typing it
