Hello. I'm quite desparate out here. I've tried contacting the support but they basically just repeat the same thing. Ever since I moved apartments in September I'm getting this. Its both for the Jagex launcher and the website. Also tried the steam client and it has similiar problem. I've gone through the suggested fixes on the Jagex website. (Timezone, clearing dns etc.)

No. No VPN, no proxy. Home Wifi, optic cable. I must note that it works when I use mobile data too

Have you tried a fresh install of the Jagex launcher?

#

Also, what browser do you use?

mmm good call I have not. I will try. But it worked fine before moving. I think its connected to the new network. I've tried Edge, Chrome, Opera and Mozzila all the same

#

Reinstall didin't help

But it works on mobile data, correct?

Yeah. But I don't want to keep using it as the connection is slow and has spikes

Your IP is blocked by Cloudflare, usually happens on shared/unsecured WiFi networks or flagged networks

If you have a dynamic IP you can turn off your router for 30-60 seconds, if you have a static one you can try calling your ISP and ask for a new IP as it is blocked by Cloudflare on some websites

#

You can also try launching the Jagex Launcher on your mobile hotspot then switching back to your current WiFi for the time being

Its blocked only for Jagex then. Because I don't have any other issues. I've also checked blacklists and my ip is not blacklisted publically. Nor I'm using a shared/unsecured wifi. I've checked with my ISP and they say there is no problem with CloudFlare. I've also tried the trick with the switch and that doesn't work. Jagex launcher disconnects and game say: "Login error"

#

Well. Thanks anyway

I can access cloudflare itself as well. I use cloudflare VPN on my other PC without an issue with the same network

Yes, it's Cloudflare that protects the RuneScape webpage which you need to access, but the IP is blocked for a lot of reasons that we can't identify so easily. It doesn't affect other services or webpages.

The issue is not with Cloudflare itself or your ISP. You can contact your ISP to change your static IP/dynamic IP by resetting the router and you should be able to try again.

It is possible to send in a ticket for Jagex tech support to investigate why exactly if it is a widespread issue from your network but generally they will just tell you to make sure you set your date and time properly, try another browser, etc. How I can see it's the IP in this case is because the phone hotspot works, and I suspect a VPN will work as well, but generally we don't recommend a VPN.

It's a long explanation but I see that you tried a lot of things on your own so yeah... All the best friend
