As of today's update, the Search box comes up automatically on Fairy Rings. I personally never use this search function and would like a means to disable it so that I can continue to use the chatbox without having to close it every time.
Add an option to disable the Search window automatically opening.
Generally, anything that hijacks my text input without being requested or necessary is annoying.

They added a setting on mobile specifically for whether the keyboard will pop up automatically, but the search box will appear no matter what, and it didn't used to do this

Realistically how long are you in the fairy ring menu for it to annoy you that much? It’s open for a few seconds until you tele to your destination

Not always, whilst I like the feature, not every fairy ring you search for comes up, I wish they would update this feature more, not only to add what OP said but also to make it more complete in terms of locations regardless if you have visited them before or not.
