Iam neither a noob but also far from a expert especially with endgame content, i dont spoiler myself too much and only roughly head the headlines when it comes to what some things are about. I began playing the game at 8 years old in 2011 and there i mostly just walked around mindlessly, did some quests and wasted all my gp on trying to construct my own home 😄 i may even just spent days cooking tea there. I was never above 50-60 in skills and mostly F2P. Sometimes i returned to RS3 times but i only really properly got the fire again to play in the start of 2024 when i discovered that Oldschool Runescape actually is a thing. Without any knowledge about members area but forgotten urban rumors still stuck in my head i went to go and play intensely 10+ hours a day over the next weeks, my main is 99 in all Melee skills and i got none lower than 70. I really do love questing and especially bosses however i wasnt brave enoughj at my main yet to approach any raids and i almost never entered wilderness, i managed to do Fight Cave successfully once but never Inferno as thats at least still to by now too hard for me, Dragon Slayer 2 and Fight Caves were so intenes for me to do that i was shaking for 2 hours still. However i lost the fun soon after reaching Melee 99.
But since the past few weeks i felt again that fire to play OSRS again, however not as a normal character, something was missing for me as i mostly bought everything i need and just went ahead, i felt pressured to achieve hard boss kills (like Fight Caves) and ran pass so many interesting activities or didnt know about some grinds. Iam a frequent watcher of content creators like Colonello and Northern UIM and especially latter made ironman (but not Ultimate as i couldnt bear that pain) so interesting to me that i just really wanted to play Ironman too, for the experience and a bit f or the prestige that comes with it 😄 though iam not that competitive at all. I just started as a Hardcore Ironman and are currently grinding Agility.
This post is a example for the fact that i really like to talk, maybe sometimes too much. Especially RuneScape which is so nostalgic i do turn quite fast into a nerdy kid that is fascinated by everything it comes across. I was in a clan with my main however it mostly died out and is now just sadly wasteland and playing like that gets lonely quite fast. I do look for a group of people that arent harsh or toxic or talk down achievements even if its something average or small, iam optimistic myself and iam not enjoying PKing much, i may get interested to that sometimes but something in me just wouldnt be able to just go ahead and slaughter other players for loot since i dont generate drops iam straight up stripping them off of it and that has me feel bad xD. (But i have nothing against PKers, everyone who enters Wilderness knows what risk they are taking!)
I only use guides for quests and otherwise sometimes look up some stuff but i dont play after something like a ironman skilling guide strictly at least not yet as i want to play my own adventure and not go for blunt efficiency as one sees such forced efficiency allday in real-life already.
I dont know what to add much more of what specifically i look for, just write me if you think i would fit into the clan. Iam open-minded and gladly look forward to responses.
