Sailing had a successful release, with only minor hiccups and (often hilarious) harmless bugs. However, a few things stick out as either less-than-mid, or just outright annoying. Let's make a pass at improving the pain points
Misplaced facilities: are you one of those that placed the crystal extractor 2 feet away, and can't use it? How did you feel when you discovered this error, and wasted 2m to replace it? No yeah, I imagine that would feel pretty awful, especially when shipbuilding has been so flexible, only for this flaw to rear its ugly head.
add an option when editing a facility to allow it to be picked up and moved
Boat smothering: Many events give you the "can't interact with something under your boat" if you try to collect them underneath. This can be annoying, seeing as how your instinct is to click the box in front of you, inevitably parking right on top.
force objects to shift away from the bottom of a boat, or remove the restriction altogether
Lantern Harpooning: If you didn't know this was a thing - don't worry, you're really not missing out. Of all the cool new features this update, lantern harpooning has to be the most mid additions to the game. Besides being just a retexured swordfish spot, there's no visual change, no mechanical difference, and it's just... lame
darken the screen on the peninsula, change the fishing bubbles to spots that can be baited with offcuts. Your character then holds a lantern over the water to see shadows in the water. Squid will either be harpooned after a few ticks, or quicker with manual clicking. offcuts spawn 1-3 squid, while fine offcuts spawn 2-5
Keg (facility): Ever place one of these on your boats, fill it up, then realize you need to make another trip for a glass to enjoy it? Well, would it surprise you to know that there are two cups, just sitting on the bottom shelf?
add a "drink" option to kegs, removing the need for an extra glass
