So i used the live chat feature today my account was stolen blah blah i should have been better protected this i know. i have a maxed account in there in the live chat they have acknowlaged that i am the rightful owner of said account locked the account but refused to migrate the account and i know this is possible because at the same time this account was stolen my 1650 total med was stolen it was quick and easy to move it to another account. but they are saying that they cant do that so why is is possible for one account to be moved to a differnt jagex account and not another and i dont mean maxed as in combat i mean as in 2277 pre sailing with every untradble in game?

also the only thing i have been told is that in the future it may be possible to get the account back but at this moment they provide no support fot this

Their current account recovery policy is that it's not possible to recover a hijacked Jagex account. Your med account must have been a legacy account that was imported to a Jagex account by a hijacker, account recovery is available in that situation.
For now there's nothing you can do but wait for changes as support suggested. 🙁

Do we not think thats a little insane tho? That jagex can admit its my account and not get the account to the rightful owner. I'm really not mad i am annoyed that a company can clearly know its yours and can do nothing. I think that just coming from the point of view of a customer. the jagex account update was about security yet i have provided everything on the account i know my exact creation date i have transaction ids i made sure my email i used in support was the creation email of the account do we not see the flaws. I know its not the mods fault but i do think that for a company as large as jagex with accounts that take many thousands of hours to make the company taking the stance of well yeah we know its your account we can lock the account but yeah get fucked is just a little bit insane. @peak bolt

Yes, sorry for the rant just annoying because here i am out a 2277 and 1800 iron and every other account i own other than a med thats been dead for years so like i dont even care to play the damn game no money no motivation why would i play when i dont have inferno no quest cape honestly all the things i would want to do are 100s of hours away things like this will push people into the black market buying accounts just to resume the game those same people will then go and buy gold to play said account because at this stage jagex has pissed us off and we just want to continue the game
