Absolutely love what you have done with salvaging.
Some things I'd love to see to make it feel a little bit better:
Storage for the loot
The common loot isnt all that good, which is completely fine, but having something like a "treasure chest" that you quickly can deposit everything in your inventory and only open at a dock. This incentivices you to actually sail back to claim your loot, rather than spam dropping all common loot and then just tele out and reclaim boat, because its so much quicker.
I dont think this would be meta changing and I dont think it would break other areas of sailing, as it doesnt act as extra storage.
In skills like mining/woodcutting/fishing, you can choose to spam drop to not get any materials and instead get more exp, but no one is going to salvage/clean an inventory and then sail to shore to bank the loot. The common loot isnt amazing, but getting a silly stack of random loot is more fun than ending the salvaging grind with just raw alch gp.
Double spots
Since double shipwreck spot is meta (sailing between shipwrecks is really unfun content so meta ends up being world hopping), please consider adding a double spot for the lvl 73 spot, as that one is such a pain compared to every other one which has double spots. It would not feel like a drag reaching that new spot. (I am passed it, so rather something to make it more complete for other players).
P.S sailing between shipwrecks is the worst part of the content, especially on mobile. One anectotal incident with poor connection made me unable to stop the boat, and I ended up sailing away for 1.5 minute before stabilizing connection and being able to turn back. I never sailed between wrecks since. This is primarily to say that I'd love to see salvaging being something where you arent expected to move 5-10 tiles with the boat every 3 minutes.
