Why do we access our boat through a sub menu of a Junior sailor? This is straigh up private server logic, talk to npc to be teleported. Why is there not just a portal on the island. It's not inuitive. Took forever to figure out how to get back to my boat.

I didn't refresh, it's added now "Select the "Customise-boat" talk option. Your boat must be docked in the same port as the shipwright.

i dont see how this is relevant whatsoever. read the quest. there are plenty of new things in sailing that dont have an equivalent in the game so far. thats why the game teaches you these new things. wild concept

why would i play a private server. and yes i have played a lot of osrs. and i had zero issues with any sailing mechanics. i had to google or ask in my clan for a handful of things, god forbid. thats how the game has always been and will hopefully always be, the community crowdsources how stuff works

Having 30 portals across the world to get to the shipyard would be quite a bit of clutter. This is the smallest of all issues with sailing that I've seen... you also have to interact with Junior Jim during the quest and he takes you to the shipyard, it's not a huge leap in logic to assume that to get back there you must talk to him again... and then you can notice he's by the shipwright's workbench, which also might logically lead you to assume that all the other npc's standing by a shipwright's workbench might also be able to transport you to the shipyard...
