Hey, I'd like to invite you to Osrs Advice.

No requirements, just be friendly and active. We're a global clan.

It's a mature clan. Our clan loves to help and teach in cc and discord, so don't hold back any questions. You won't experience any negativity or drama here. We are very iron friendly, as we have lot's of them . We're not a small clan but that only means that we hourly have 20-60 players online 24/7 all timezones, less on work days, more on weekends. Always someone to chat with, pvm or skill with.

Events:

  • In every couple of months we're having either pvm bingo or competition, or massive skilling competition between 3 teams.

  • Weekly rotating sotw or botw, one week skill of the week, another boss of the week that clannies vote for.

  • Holiday hide and seek events, fashions contests, drop partys etc

Small update to this post. I am still looking. This has not just been left to gather dust, but I have been seeing a lot of the generic copy paste messages. The ones that you see in every post for people seeking to join a clan. I'm just going to say this now.

That is not going to pique my interest

Understand that I am not saying this to be dismissive or rude. I'm just looking at it like a business transaction. If your pitch feels low effort, why would I be interested? It's also a two way street, so it needs to be a good fit on both sides. Not just one.

So far out of the select few who messaged me privately, only one managed to pique my interest enough to jump into their Discord and float around the clan to check them out. Sadly, despite their approach being very good. The honeymoon phase is over and I see things that I dislike and things that I think will either rub players the wrong way, or make them leave soon after. Now, out of respect I will not name them, but if they end up reading over this. They will know who they are.

**Summary/TLDR; I am still looking, but please put more effort into your approaches. Generic copy paste messages will not work. **

Another update towards this, this time with an update to previously posted skills & gear tab.

I have been a little bit, since I was taking a break from the game for a bit, playing other games primarily among other things. Now actively playing again as I work on Sailing after letting everyone else enjoy the skill while I was getting Song of The Elves done and other account progression.

I am still looking, and to cut down and minimize the search some more. I am looking for groups that are very active in their Discord. Not expecting 24/7 activity, but a healthy enough amount that there is almostalways someone to talk to whilst playing the game. I still do not want to see the same copy and paste messages I have been seeing, but I doubt that will stop people from doing it anyway, so whatever.

Feel free to message me directly, doing so will gain my attention more easily.

It's my post, so if I see a clan that advertises and I am not interested in them, I mark the X. That's not a high horse. They're just not what I'm looking for. If anyone is to be on a high horse, it very well may be you.

This post is for the chance I may find a clan, so I'll leave it at that. I have zero need to justify my actions to someone that is not even interested in the post itself, but wanting to argue over something trivial.
