deleting empty character from jagex account

i migrated to the jagex account and without me asking it to, it created a blank new character instead of letting me import mine first. i don’t want this. how do i get rid of the new character on the account

i didn’t create the character tho, it was just part of the jagex account creation flow. same thing? why not ask if you want to import first now i have a wasted slot :/

So when you created a Jagex account you migrated your accounts over with an already created character slot?

no, i was trying to log in to the jagex website, it prompted me to upgrade to a jagex account so i did, but then i hit a button in the flow that i thought would lead to asking if i wanted to import but instead i saw this screen

Hiding the slot is probably the best option.

Just to make sure you don't do this, there is a deletion request option from jagex but that will delete your entire jagex account. Not an individual character.

So don't try that thinking it will just delete the one character
