#VPN split tunnelling for OSRS - Runelite

Hello all

On the basis that RS doesn't really like VPNs, I've managed to get VPN split tunnelling to work (using both Proton and Mullvad VPNs) on RS3 but I can't get it to work on OSRS. On trying to launch RL from the Jagex Launcher, I get the above error message - which is 100% connected to the VPN as when I disconnect it works immediately.

On RS3, the steps required for me were 1. Add split tunnelling application exceptions to the Jagex Launcher and the RS3 client; and 2. (on Proton but not Mullvad) add split tunnelling IP exceptions for the game world IPs I was playing on.

I've done the equivalent for OSRS - I think. See second attached image.

Anyone managed to get this running (ideally with Mullvad or otherwise without game world IP filtering? Proton doesn't like my computer much)?

Thanks in advance.

thanks a lot - I'll try that after work and report back/try the RL discord if it doesn't work

didn't have a chance to try this until yesterday - it worked, thanks. For anyone having similar issues, I needed to reinstall runelite (make sure to log in to Runelite so profile is saved first) in order to have the option to enable ipv4 appear.
