Fish barrel idle few ticks after filling

Noticed that after filling the fish barrel, my character goes idle after a couple a ticks. So it would happen like this:

Full inventory -> fill fishing barrel -> resume fishing -> character idle

So I'd usually have to wait a couple of ticks before fishing again. It would be great if my character is made idle only once when filling the fish barrel.

You can right-click Open the fish barrel so you never have to use the Fill option

You are also only "resuming fishing" in the sense that it plays out the animation, the action to gather fish will have stopped even though it still plays the animation

I am not sure whether I was clear in my original statement, but when I say "resume fishing", I really meant click on a fishing spot (in my case cage fishing spot). So it will be like this: full inventory -> fill fishing barrel -> click on another fishing spot -> character shows fishing animation for a few ticks -> character becomes idle
