I have 1090/1140 slots filled, and I run just one long list rather than tabs, and its very well orgainized.
I don't even need to use the search function to find anything in my bank.

If you organized your bank properly, and kept it properly organized, this would never be an issue since you would already know where said item is within your bank.
Making Jagex fix the interface to support player laziness is a terrible design choice, and is very likely to never happen.
The vast majority of players purposely keep their banks clean and organized to eliminate the need to have these options.

The original message was deleted so I dont know if this is the wrong spot, or if this is what this thread was originally about but I am a new OSRS player (still in my first month) and constantly find myself searching around my bank nonstop trying to find specific types of gear. I am not an OSRS veteran and dont know items by their icons inherently and just wish there were buttons to show specific gear types. I would love to see an icon or a filter of some sort to show only items belonging to a specific gear slot. I don't know all my items and its pretty tedious to take them all out to equip them to see which slot it occupies. I think on the left side of the bank between the "Scroll Up" and "Scroll Down" buttons you could put the default icons for each gear slot that when clicked, show only items in your bank of that gear slot, if you tap it while active, it removes that filter. (If this exists already and I simply don't know how to do it, PLEASE share it with me. Thank you.)

as for a sorting feature i feel like if we could export/load bank layouts that would be great because a sorting feature in itself feels kinda weird (i mean the whole layout not just a loadout for a boss i know a plugin for the ladder exists already)
