because contrary to pets, keeping your cat alive has gameplay impact in the form of hunting rats or being turned in for death runes. Being incentivized to actually care for it and it not being immune to mistakes is good

for sure, but what if pet reclaim tokens also worked with cats? talk about grinding out a pet, a lot of pets with no function take ridiculous hours to get so why not just be able to reclaim?
