#Acc unlinked from jagex account and put on another jagex account

I'm trying to recover my near maxxed main account that was unlinked from my jagex account and added to a new one, I have the account name that is ALTISTLCL, I have all the information needed for recovery but can't seem to get hold of a real answer from a real person, i can also provide photos of the account progressing I will do anything I just want my account back please

This email from a mod wendar I received, I haven't resolved anything at all, beacuse I still don't have the account jagex have "locked" the account for security but I still haven't resolved it or got the account back, then I was told that a jagex account can't be recovered then I see this first picture (see attached) on Facebook and then 2 days later receive this email from a jagex moderator and then submit another one and revive the same email word for word

I really want to carry on playing, I was in the progress of maxing the account, I've worked on it for years and years and I just want my account back please @austere prairie @foggy sundial @pastel pecan

just to clarify, you aren't going to get assistance from a jmod here. thats not how it works.

yea, the only Jmods that look at anything in here in the whole discord are community Jmods. None of them deal with support work of the actual game

If it was transferred from one Jagex Account to another, then whoever did so had evidence that this account was theirs, and it will cause ownership issues having them to flat out lock the account or decide who it belongs too.

They had to have submitted a Recovery Ticket thus transferring this account of yours.

Seeing the email you received, I believe it may have been an incorrect Ticket Request that was submitted, or an incorrect email was sent.

I'm also reading your First Photo, in which case you should be responding to that email to send them to a more secured Email address.

I believe that's the only step they request of you to reply back with a secured Email Address for them to send a transfer link?

Lastly- the second photo suggests IF your Jagex Account was Hijacked then it would be your email that may have been compromised as that would be the only way possible or through another service, in which case they can't recover a Jagex Account for you, not your character or any characters that were involved

A Jagex character can be unlinked from a Jagex Account IF a Hijacker had requested for a Recovery for your character on your Jagex Account if they are believed to be the owner.

Once your Jagex Account is compromised by the hijacker having access to your Email for example, or any third-party sign in for your Jagex Account if you linked, they are unable to assist with your Jagex Account recovery if for example they requested a password change on your Jagex Account.

That statement they added was for a note that they add for their messages about Recoveries depending if it's about your character, as well as a Jagex Account.

Mod Ash isn't able to help with account issues, unfortunately.
It's not currently possible to recover a Jagex account, but there are plans to change that in the future according to the player support roadmap https://osrs.game/Player-Support-Roadmap

It sounds like your friend has already contacted support and they've disabled the hijacked account so the hijacker can't abuse it further. That's the best your friend can do for now. 🙁

In the Email he received it was meantioned that it was CONFIRMED that my friend was the rightful owner, yet they claimed that the only thing that could be done was ban the account to avoid further misuse. Is this something that has changed now? Can such accounts be returned to their rightful owner? Mind you we're talking about an end-game account.
