I am aware that the lovely Star Sprites do not exist in OSRS due to well. Player base making their minds known. And that's fine.
Though what if? There be a tiny chance instead of the usual Crashed star breaking apart into nothingness? Say you and your fellow players mine it. And there will be a RARE chance it opens up...STAR SPRITE!
Have this cute fella be as a pet for the event. Cause why not? Some of us do love the little guy.

The star sprite was also part of the original OSRS Shooting Stars blog and was explicitly removed due to feedback on the poll blog.

no need to get defensive about it, we're pointing out that it exists. There aren't really multiple pets for the same skill. Agility has the same pet no matter what course you do, woodcutting has the beaver + transmogs (like the rock golem), farming has tangleroot, etc

Data's idea actually hits way better than my idea. A transmog to change the golem into a star sprite. That would work perfectly.
As we do have some pets with that option.

As I said, I would vote no to it for the same reason that the Gemstone Crab shouldn't have a pet.
Not everything needs a pet or transmog and especially not the most AFK method.

I mean yes not everything needs a pet but what, 80% of pets are from bosses? Imo its fine to throw the skillers a bone once in a while if thats what they mostly do and enjoy. Even if i dont think its engaging or worth doing
