U tried scurrius?
what do you need a tutorial on?
Don't be stupid. Use the wiki
Did you use any guide or just send bosses? Cuz you definitely need guides for all the bosses in this game
Have you tried f keys
Tried watching youtube video ultimate guides?😅
Hey man, let's be fair- some people learn way better via practice vs. via watching guides and trying to internalize everything before actually trying.
It would have zero benefit for most people who have gotten used to boss mechanics by now, but having a 'trial mode' where you can fight the boss in an instance where you don't gain or lose anything could help some people who want to get good at bossing and are willing to not get any drops until they're comfortable that they can fight the boss 'for real'.
That would definitely help
Ive watched tutorials ive got all the runelite plugins for bosses. Ive been trying to beat regular gauntlet but i think imma just give up. Ive tried other bosses and raids.
Its also incredibly beneficial to join a clan. My clan in particular is full of members who teach all content
I believe in you, man. For the time being, just think of it like this- Runescape is a rhythm game disguised as an MMO. Most of this is about learning the pattern and then having your own pattern to deal with it.
Doing gauntlet with 75s is like 3x harder than if you had 90+
So literally a combat skill issue more than a skill issue
With more and more practice and higher DPS you can rinse and repeat
Yeah ngl I'm maxed, and when I tried gauntlet for the first time it took me a few hours to get it down. And im pretty experienced.
Yeah game gets significantly less punishing if you have higher stats/gear
honestly Gauntlet was the first thing I tried after clearing all quests and it wiped me instantly. It's going to take a while to learn.
Hunllef was made much easier with sounds and animations added on swaps. You can't ask for more than that
For instance mains can just buy aranea boots, use protect from melee and click once and AFK sarachnis lol
Try easier bosses first cuz gauntlet is pretty tough
Granted you have the defense level/bonuses set up
Scurrius and then moons is a good start
Here's something that was on reddit, bosses ranked by difficulty, maybe try the ones at the bottom first and then moving up once you get them down
it just takes time and practice if ur new the early bosses can help teach you a bit of the fundementals
but alot of actually getting good at endgame content is understanding boss specific mechanics rather then how good you gear swap/pray swap. even if you can do inferno that u will be a baby at toa or tob etc
Ideally bosses would let you just run in and figure out the mechanics. Many do work like that, but there's a handful that either have super obtuse mechanics or 1 shots out of nowhere
Imo the bosses themselves should be their own tutorial
Also who tf thought the rock climbing rating scale was a good idea for bosses, let alone for top rope
no idea I just go based on the positions
@stable grail thank you. Really shows the scale of how bad i am. @marble yarrow not enough practice will make me good so i guess ill just stick to bad bosses and Skilling. Especially because switching weapons and armor is the worst 20000000000000000 % especially when i need to move, heal, and switch prayers constantly.
vast majority of ppl that played this game start out struggling with pvm itll click eventually if u keep at it
Are you using F-keys or just your mouse to swap interfaces?
I use keys its just not possible for me to do all these things in the span of a second theres literally no breathing room for error in some of these fights. Its pray, eat, switch weapons and or armor then they add floor mechanics like i can do everything while not only watching the boss but watch the floors and other boss mechanics. And every boss has like 500-1000 or more health. Soon enough ill have the most deaths in osrs. Ive done been keeping at it.
Now i kinda wanna keep playing so i have the most deaths
What boss are you trying right now and which bosses did you manage to kill so far?
Just killing zalc and trying for gauntlet
Sounds like you're trying to do too much at the same time. There are very few bosses that require multiple inputs per tick (0.6 seconds). For the gauntlet you need to move, but you have leeway in the sense that the tornadoes are slower than you. The floor doesn't start damaging you instantly etc.
When you eat you get put on a delay. So if you're panicking and clicking food faster than your character can eat it then you're adding unnecessary inputs that you could have used to move, swap prayers, click the boss etc.
Also, as was said before, try easier bosses that have the similar mechanics, but aren't as punishing. Scurrius, moons, amoxliatl and hueycoatl are all modern bosses that are much less punishing than the gauntlet, but teach you some of the same things.
i mean doing gauntlet as your first real boss isnt the best move
Fair enough 🤣
they introduced a lot of tutorial bosses by now, do the easy ones first and learn the basics. this is entirely self inflicted
The tutorial you're asking for is already in the game in the form of easier bosses. You're supposed to start with simpler, less punishing ones and move your way up.
Ive done alot of the smaller bosses the drops royally suck but i guess ill keep doing them.
Thanks everyone for the help
The tutorial bosses you should be doing are scurrius, moons and titans. They all teach different things, do them until you can do them blind and perfectly, youll have a much easier time
Now imma have to buy a blind fold? 🤣
